After his studies in industrial computing (Bachelor and Master of Science) at the Picardie Jules Verne University (IUP GEII of Amiens, France), A. Dupuis carried out a DEA specialised in systems controling at th Compiègne University (UTC). Based on this work, he published a PhD thesis on image processing that he defended in July 2004 at the UTC. In May 2005, A. Dupuis integrated IRISA's TEXMEX team first as a CNRS post-doc and then as an INRIA engineer. During three years, he was in charge of coordinating the R&D work around a platform dedicated to multimedia document indexation and searching. This platform led to some collaborations such as the National Institute for Audiovisual (INA). Today, A. Dupuis is creating Powedia, a project based on these three years R&D acitvities. This project was awarded by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research during its 10th event for high-tech company foundation and innovative technologies. |
